Artisan Hand-Stitched Walker is a traditional craftwork by hand-sewn, we refuse to apply any industrial glue, thus it has no chemical flavor at all. But because it is a hand-stitched product, please be aware to not wear the shoes in rainy days or in the puddle area.


However, such compromise made its advantages, in sunny day, the hand-stitched structure of the boots provides an incomparable breathability, so the air can travel freely & interiorly, excluding the moist and heat.

Yes, this is our 'Zero-Glue Construction' — something we're truly proud of. 90% of boots on the market use industrial glue, but these boots use hand-stitched waxed thread to connect the sole and the upper.

Is this boot waterproof? Is it water-repellent?

We have to tell you honestly: These boots are not waterproof, nor are they water-repellent.


This is exactly the trade-off of our zero-glue approach. Because the sole and upper are not sealed by glue, water can seep through.


So we suggest treating them as sunny-day footwear — they can't handle puddles, but the dryness and breathability they offer are unmatched by standard waterproof boots.

What size should I choose? Do they run large without glue?

These boots are made true to size according to standard US sizing. Although no glue is used, our precise hand-stitching maintains its shape beautifully.

Industrial glue becomes brittle and cracks as it ages, but our thick waxed thread stitches directly through the sole and upper, ensuring a tough and secure connection.

This is a soft toe, but are the outsoles hard?

When you put the boots on, the comfort is amazing! The exterior may look rugged and stiff, but in fact, it is incredibly lightweight and soft!

Without a heavy steel toe or stiff glue layer, the flexibility is excellent, and no painful break-in period is needed. Many of our clients say, "It feels as soft and comfortable as a second skin!"
